Catching Up Sept. 2020
Wasn’t it June only a week ago? As I’m certain many of you are aware, the flow of time has lost any strong sense of coherence in these days of self-isolation and constant, lingering dread. Though I will of course be using that as part of an excuse as to why my blog failed to be updated at all for a couple months now, I also do have to admit that I have just been having a difficult time finding the spark to write anything of any substance (or anything really insubstantial, either) while navigating the current times.
But things are turning around, or at the very least shifting very slightly in a semicircular fashion. I have begun my second junior year (thanks, changing majors and dropping out of SFSU!), this time at Sacramento State. While the 18 unit course load I took on will absolutely keep me a bit busier than I would like (or is reasonable), it does mean that I will necessarily have to be writing a lot more again. While I will still try to produce something unique for the site when I am able, at the very least I expect I will soon have school essays and stuff to put up here, just to have more written material available for those interested. I plan to re-commit to a weekly or semi-weekly schedule for my playlists very soon, as well, though sometimes the writing part of it may be very limited.
One final, but vitally important tidbit- I now have a very fantastic logo for the site, designed by the very talented Styles Munson ( you can find his work on his web site and his Instagram).
Thank you, as always, for your time.
